Description
Robert Field (b. 1605) emigrated from Halifax Parish, Sowerby, England, to Newport and Portsmouth, Rhode Island, in 1638, later moving to Flushing, Long Island, New York. He married twice (once in England) and died before 1673. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota and elsewhere in most of the United States. Includes other Field immigrants and some of their descendants. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada. Includes detailed ancestry to 1220 in England, and family history and some earlier ancestry to 1066 A.D. in England.
