George Allen (d.1648) and his family immigrated in 1635 from England to Sandwich, Massachusetts, later moved to Newport, Rhode Island, and still later to Plymouth, Massachusetts. Ralph Allen (d.1698), possibly a son of George, married Esthjer Swift in 1643 in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives (who were probably Quakers) lived in New England, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Includes some family history and genealogy about probably ancestors in England.
