Frontispiece is a photograph of Alexandra by W. & D. Downey, a rotogravure with a false plate mark. The photographs are reproduced in halftone and in rotogravure, with the latter individually mounted as in an album. An advertisement published in The Times, London, September 10, 1912, states that the Rembrandt Intaglio Printing Company produced the rotogravures in an edition of 600,000."--David A.
