The volume is a collection of diagrams, tables, and text material, which has been assembled to show the interrelationships between various radio frequency measurements made by the Institute for Basic Standards (IBS). In particular, the measurements are those which lead to services provided to the public or to other government agencies. These services include not only calibrations made for fees, but the broadcast services of the four NBS radio stations. Measurements made as part of the IBS research and development program are not included. The information included is designed to give the users and potential users of the radio frequency services a clearer understanding of the origins of the measurement output of IBS in this field.
