Chiefly a record of some ancestors and descendants of Josiah Edson. He was born 1758 in Stafford, Connecticut. He married Sarah Pinney 1 Jul 1779 in Stafford. She died in 1805. He died 27 Oct 1819 in Randolph. Descendants lived in Connecticut, Vermont, Michigan, Ohio, New York, and elsewhere.

Abraham Strickler and three of his brothers immigrated about 1700 from Switzerland to Pennsylvania, and in 1728 Abraham owned land in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and elsewhere.
