Autism is a mental and psychological developmental disorder with a pronounced deficit in emotional and communication skills. The word ‘Autism’ is defined as a person being withdrawn into themselves. A person with autism spectrum disorder never expresses their emotions, fails to gesture or speak to others, and their behaviour often lacks social meaning. Many parents are concerned about how to recognise their child has autism and at what age the condition first manifests. Written in accessible language for parents of patients as well as medical staff, this book provides tests for identifying autism without medical training. The symptoms which constitute Autism Spectrum Disorder are described at great length. The approach to the individual's condition is important. Autism is not an illness or even a diagnosis—it is a state of mind in which a person is ensconced in their own world. This book is based on an understanding of the person's condition, offering comprehensive, holistic help to improve the condition and help the individual socialise and integrate into society. Parents of children diagnosed with autism often ask their doctor—can the condition be cured? There is no cure for autism, but by using corrective methods, it is possible to significantly improve the person with autism state and help them adapt to the world as much as possible. Of course, parents must work closely with educators, medical providers, and routines over a long period of time but the results of these efforts can be monumental. Autism is not a sentence, it is a story.

Autism Spectrum Disorder: Bioregenerative Medicine with Stem Cell Therapy is intended for a wide audience: parents of autistic children, regular and special education teachers, medical specialists, and for everybody who wants to learn about modern approaches to treat developmental diseases. This comprehensive monograph contains broad knowledge starting with a brief history of autism spectrum disorder, theories of occurrence and diagnosis, and reviewing modern behavioural, pharmacological, and bioregenerative therapeutic technologies. Why is this book different? It is grounded in recent data related to new conceptualizations of the occurrence of autism spectrum disorder which consider autism a mitochondrial disease. Thus, the authors explain core concepts. What is a mitochondrion? How does its damage appear and correlate to the signs and symptoms of autism? What kind of bioregenerative therapies have great therapeutic potential? Almost all therapeutic methods for autism spectrum disorder are discussed from the point of view of the evidence based medicine. Bioregenerative technology is based on the restoration of damaged subcellular structures like mitochondria and brain cell peptides. Bioregenerative antioxidant therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, transcranial magnetic/direct current stimulation, and mitochondrial organelles replacement therapy are key directions in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder. Finally, new technology that holds high potential for the restoration of brain function is discussed—bioregenerative stem cell therapy. Because of the strong correlation between the symptoms of autism and changes in the brain, physicians have great tools to regulate such clinical symptoms through stem cell therapy. Most importantly, the authors have personal experience using the stem cell therapy with autism spectrum disorder patients. All facts are strongly supported by published scientific reviews and trials.

Stroke is a critical medical emergency and a leading cause of disability and death worldwide. Within minutes of the stroke or interruption of the blood supply, the affected cells begin to die, potentially leading to devastating neurological consequences. Understanding Stroke: The Biological Approach explores the science behind stroke, its causes, mechanisms, and management, discussing the biological processes that govern cerebral circulation and mechanisms for repair and recovery potential. The book provides an in-depth look at the biological approach to stroke management, including cellular and molecular mechanisms to understand stroke pathophysiology, from energy failure and excitotoxicity to immune responses and neurodegeneration. Understanding Stroke comprehensively discusses the role of neuropeptides, growth factors, and other biologically active molecules that may aid in brain repair and functional recovery. It also highlights the physiotherapeutic and regenerative strategies, emphasizing the importance of neurorehabilitation techniques, including physiotherapy, brain stimulation, and emerging regenerative medicine approaches to enhance recovery. Next, a post-stroke recovery and rehabilitation chapter examines strategies to maximize neurological function, including dietary interventions, physical activity, cognitive therapy, and assistive technologies. Beyond traditional treatment, Understanding Stroke presents how cutting-edge therapies, including stem cell research, neuroplasticity training, and personalized medicine, transform post-stroke care. With advances in neuroscience and regenerative medicine, there is renewed hope for stroke survivors to regain lost function and improve their quality of life. This book offers an insightful and scientifically backed resource on the biological mechanisms of stroke and the latest advancements in management and rehabilitation.

This handbook focuses on different aspects of anti-aging and both preventive and regenerative medicine. It includes analysis of the paradigm of ageing and concepts of anti-aging medicine. Standards and technologies are highlighted in over twenty chapters all authored by international experts in regenerative medicine. Topics covered include: • Ageing, aging, and anti-aging: A Decalogue for anti-aging medicine • Lessons from Sicilian centenarians for anti-aging medicine • Molecular biomarkers and genetic aspects of aging • Future of peptides in clinical practice • Mitochondrial approaches in anti-aging medicine and in SARS-CoV2 infection • Tissue-specific autoantibodies in preventive medicine • Chronic stress as a psycho-neuro-immunological dysfunction • Gut-associated immune system and its health implications • Regenerative medicine with platelet-rich-plasma • Alzheimer’s disease: Preventive and anti-aging neurology • Autistic spectrum disorder and mitochondrial medicine • Integrative hormonal approach in anti-aging medicine • Preventive cardiology and phlebology • Aesthetic and anti-aging medicine • Preventive ophthalmology • Preventive oncology • Nutrition in healthy aging • Physical activity and fitness paradigms for anti-aging and longevity Recommended reading for clinicians working in anti-aging medicine as well as ageing people. The authors hope it will set a new “standard of anti-aging medicine” and as a tool in planning for the inevitable challenges we all will face caring for ageing patients and creating preventive-health programs.
