Johann Andreas Strassburger (b.1716) was the eldest son of Johann Ulrich Strassburger and his first wife, Maria Elizabetha Flücken. Johann Andreas emigrated in 1742 from the Palatinate of Germany to Philadelphia, and then returned to Germany to marry Catherina Rosina Kolb in 1751. He immigrated in 1769 (without his wife) to Philadelphia, settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and died after 1785. Two of his children (a son and a daughter) immigrated with him. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, New York and elsewhere. Includes many ancestors, descendants, and relatives in Germany.
