Christopher Thomas was born in 1609 in County Kent, England, the son of Tristram Thomas. He immigrated to Virginia in 1635 with his wife and son. After remaining in Virginia a short time, the family moved to Maryland. He married 2) Elizabeth Higgins, a widow. He died 25 March 1670. Descendants lived in Maryland and elsewhere.
