The Mount Pennell (UT-050-248) Wilderness Study Area comprises 25,800 acres in the Henry Mountains in Garfield County, Utah. Field and laboratory investigations were conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey from 1981 to 1984 and by the U.S. Bureau of Mines in 1988.
