Joseph Theophilus Cauffman (1720-1807) immigrated from Germany to Philadelphia, and married twice. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, New England, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Illinois, California and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Halifax, Nova Scotia and elsehwere in Canada. Includes some ancestors and genealogical data in England, France and elsewhere to 912 A.D.
