Kennedy - "Lower rates of taxation will stimulate economic activity and so raise the levels of personal and corporate income as to yield within a few years an increased flow of revenues to the Federal Government." Eleasar Bishop (ca. 1692-1755) emigrated from England to New London, Connecticut, and married Sarah Dart in 1704. His son, John Bishop (1709-1785), married twice and immigrated from Connecticut to Horton, Nova Scotia in 1760/1763. Descendants lived in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and elsewhere. Many descendants immigrated to New England, New York, Pennsylvania, California and elsewhere in the United States.
