"I have collected the information contained in this little book for the purpose of enabling the descendants of my great-grandfather to know their relationship with each other. I know that it is not quite correct, but I hope that it is nearly so. David Gamble"--Leaf after title page. Roger Gower, the great-grandfather, was a Dublin solicitor in the 1700s. The book contains pedigree charts of his descendants and relatives to 1894, chiefly living in Ravenhead, Lancashire, England and elsewhere in England, with some still living in Ireland. Some descendants immigrated to India, New Zealand and elsewhere. Other descendants immigrated to "America."
